One recent review notes: After closing my own photo studio in the summer of this year (in 2023), I still needed a space to continue providing headshot and portrait photography services, and luckily, I found the Studio Northwest! The space is nice and clean! Well taken care of! Management is good and communicative! They have lots of accessories that are helpful, and I don't have to carry everything for each photoshoot (like C-stands, sandbags, backgrounds, etc.). They don't provide lighting (but I always use my own, so that's ok!). The reservation process is easy and clear. The only "downside" for me is that coming in and out can be little stressful, as it's on a 5the floor and you need to call on call box, then grab a key fob etc. And if you have 1 hour reservation, you are really tight in time to carry all your lighting gear. (It's especially stressful for me as my old Studio was in a 1st floor and I had a direct quick access, so kinda need to get used to this one:) but other than that all is good! I just hope they can add some extra minutes on the reservation time for us to carry all the lighting gear in and out.. Hope to have a long-term collaboration! 🙌. • Google review: I have rented other studios here in Portland, but this one was my favorite so far! From the ease of scheduling, timely and thorough information on usage, entry, and closure to actual usage was top notch. The studio had everything we needed. My clients loved the dressing room and comfortable seating and water in the entry. I liked having both wood and cement floor options, plus the use of mobile backdrops and seamless paper without a million add-on charges. And, the access to items in the storeroom and utility cart if needed. You covered all the bases! Thank you, Studio Northwest, for the use of your beautiful space!
