If you are one of those who hates your photos taken, Nicole will put you at ease the moment she meets you. There's not going to be "what should I wear," "how should I stand or pose," "should I smile with my mouth open showing teeth, or closed," etc. Before arriving, Nicole has already discussed wardrobe with you, and during the session, Nicole guides and instructs you, and as quickly as you started, the session has ended. And you had fun having your pictures taken! Nicole took a professional headshot of me, and couple of portraits -- they turned out better than I expected! I highly recommend Nicole for your professional headshots, family portraits, maternity/newborn and also beauty/boudoir. She responded immediately and was very clear in all communications from the beginning. She was kind & flexible enough to accommodate me as I was not sure of the exact date of the shoot. I was recovering from flu at the time. The shoot itself was fun, and she made sure we got enough shots. Even though it was Christmas holidays she turned over the proofs and final shots without any delays as she was aware of my website launch. • Google review: Allow me to tell you how awesome Jeff is, will you? He is booked weeks or months in advance because he is so excellent at his craft. I needed an update to my LinkedIn profile photo because the selfie I’d taken 3 years ago just wasn’t giving professional at all. Jeff’s booking method, payment processes, and photo portfolio reviews are easy to navigate. His communication via email is outstanding, always clear and thorough. My photo shoot took all of 15 minutes, as I recall. Jeff made me feel at ease in his SF studio and we got good headshots quickly. After I’d initially selected a photo for retouching and Jeff sent the retouched version back to me (in my online gallery), I decided it looked too AI-ish for my tastes. So I asked Jeff to “lighten” the retouching a bit. He did exactly that. I’m so pleased with my new LinkedIn profile photo. Jeff is the best and well worth the money. Do it. Book him.

A relief that they did touchups with me present, so I could chose what and how much to touch up. There is no other photographer I would recommend to friends than Palo Alto Headshots. Outstanding!
