I hired her for personal branding, lifestyle photos, and headshots, and she nailed every single one. Before choosing her, I interviewed three different photographers (yes, I was thorough)—but the second I chatted with Jennifer, I knew she was my person. She’s done photos for four people I know, and every shoot turned out fabulous. So my expectations were high—and she still blew me away. Jennifer is honest, direct, professional, and refreshingly easy to work with. She’s got a clear creative vision, but also really listens and collaborates to make sure the shoot reflects you. She told me exactly how we’d get the best results—and she delivered. The shoot itself? So much fun. We laughed, we vibed, we got amazing content—and the photos speak for themselves. What I really appreciated was that she gave me wonderful guidance while in front of the camera. Jennifer knew how to provide me with direction so I can model and position myself that worked best for my facial features and body. I also really enjoyed working with a women photographer, like Jennifer, as I instantly felt more comfortable right from the start. Another cool fun fact was that Jennifer recreated my cosmetic/makeup office in her studio! She had great furniture and props to capture the essence of my brand in her location/studio which made it very convenient. I LOVE my final photos! It was hard to narrow down the ones I loved as there were so many! The images have really elevated my website and brand. I can't wait to schedule my next shoot with her! It was so fun!

• Google review: I've worked with Nancy a few times, for personal headshots and also to photograph my team when I owned my own company. The resulting photographs are always stunning, beyond my expectations; she makes me look so good, and I don't usually photograph well! But I especially appreciate her working style. She's professional and skilled, knows exactly how to get what I want while composing a great photo, but she's also flexible, open to ideas, and fun and comfortable to work with. I came in with a vague idea of what I wanted, and through some easy simple conversation and trying some things, we were able to land on exactly the right mix of poses, backgrounds, and outfits. I highly recommend Nancy!

• Google review: Nancy is the consummate professional. She has a lovely studio space and assistant and enjoys experimenting with light, backgrounds and dialog to get the perfect shot. (Though she doesn't have them in her studio normally, her dogs, were "visiting" when i was there which helped me to relax since I love animals.) Nancy took my first professional photo back in 2010 and the most recent in 2023. It never occurred to me to see anyone else. Plus Nancy will "retouch" out all those fine lines, etc, upon request, so you can feel perfectly wonderful about your professional photo. She is a wonderful photographer, beyond her portrait work as well. I encourage you to check out her website for whatever you might need her services for.

I looked at over a dozen photographers in the Bay Area and Sacramento, and Lisa stood out as the best. I'll be returning to her regularly. Lisa communicates clearly and in advance with easy to follow wardrobe recommendations and directions to her studio. I really appreciated her call the day before to review details. These were my first headshots and I was definitely nervous when it came time for the shoot. But Lisa, Cora and Star were great at putting me at ease. Lisa's clear and calm communication during the shoot helped me relax, which came through in the photos. After the shoot, she was great about communicating next steps, and the final headshots arrived ahead of schedule without sacrificing quality.

• Google review: They’re passport photo experts. They know the requirements and how to pose to ensure your photo is accepted. Don’t try to do it at home! Ive had my photo rejected so I don’t even try anymore and just go to the pros. Now that you can renew some US passports online, they provide the digital file (it was about $35). I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Nice small business owner. They offer a lot of other services like business headshots. Will be back!

• Google review: I don't like taking pictures. I don't know how to pose, don't know my angles, and get really embarrassed when taking pics. BUT THIS WAS THE BEST PHOTO SESSION EVER. My company provided headshots during an event and 100+ people participated. Even with the huge amount of sessions, the photographer was so engaged, funny, and gave great directions. When I saw my photos immediately after, I was still hesitant and felt defeated. I just received the touched up version and they look amazing!
