• Google review: Headshots! I had the BEST experience ever getting my headshots done by Tamara! Full story: I have never had headshots done, and when I was completing my on-boarding info for my real estate brokerage, there was a place to upload one’s headshot (because, #realestate). I had no such headshot, so I asked my mentor where her beautiful headshots were from, and she said Bella Photography & Design! I DM’d Tamara on IG and she was awesome, I scheduled a headshot session at her studio a couple days later, and since my favorite makeup person had retired, she ever so graciously set up an appointment for me with DeeAnn at The Powder Room on Mendocino Ave. After getting off the phone I was excited but also immediately started having anxiety about what to wear, and whether or not I was going to like the way my hair and makeup would be done. I was spiraling about possibly hating every photo I was about to invest in, but I had absolutely NOTHING to worry about. DeeAnn did my makeup to perfection for the camera, and Tamara with her efficient and skillful camera wielding, gave the best direction I ever could have asked for from a professional photographer. I felt comfortable and appreciated every step of the way. I chose two headshots to purchase straight away for business cards and website stuff, (it was SO hard to choose because I literally could have used any one of the photos she took), and she told me the gallery would be up for about 6 months so I could come back and purchase a few more poses and looks later if I wanted to. Also worth noting, Tamara was readily available with a few appointment slots, and had my gallery up online the same day as the shoot. She did mention it was her slow season so this may not always be the case, but her speed and professionalism is unmatched! She makes great (and efficient) photos look easy, but I know there are many years of experience behind knowing exactly when to hit the shutter, and her posing and movement direction. I appreciate her skill so much, and the referral to DeeAnna was the cherry on top. Long story short, I always feel so grateful to work with people that are great at what they do, and Tamara is definitely one of those people.
